Suzhou is China's well-known "city of gardens", which tops all others in both the number and the artistry of gardens and lies by the beautiful Lake Tai in the richly endowed Yangtze Delta. To those tourists desiring to understand China, Suzhou garden is the best museum. There are four famous gardens in Suzhou: Surging Waves Pavilion, Lion Grove garden, Humble Administrator's Garden, and Lingering Garden.
Suzhou is also a water-country. You can visit Luzhi Town, Zhouzhuang Town, Tongli Town, Mudu Town and Guangfu Town by bus. You can also visit some scenic spots and historical sites like Panmen Gate, North Temple Pagoda, Tiger Hill, West Garden, Hanshan Temple, Taoist Temple of Mystery, and Twin pagoda etc.
