Microsoft's forte' has always been with desktop computer software. Open it up and your Windows would shut down. What you, and others, have failed to do is fully articulate what it is you can't do with Win 8 that you can with Win 7. Windows 8 Disable Metro That is unlikely to happen any time soon.
