I did all this three or four days ago. Finally something that actually does the trick. This will get you all updates and improvements since SP1. Click on the Start globe and type services into the text box.
I left it for a bit, then went to shut the computer down in disgust. Kb 949104 and I have read Windows 10 has some issues as well... It would help me greatly. For error code 800B0100 it was recommended that I install the system update readiness tool.

Ok I gave it a chance but it didn’t do anything, even with the repair tool… anything. By right-clicking svchost.exe and choosing "Go to service", I was able to see which service was the culprit, and the culprit was wuauserv, the Windows Update Automatic Updates service.
