HomeGroup is a feature best suited for small home networks to share files and printers with devices running Windows 10, Windows 8.1, and Windows 7. They BOTH see one another, they just won't hook up! The first 2 cpus are still working well. Both are less than a year old.

I set the homegroup up on the hardwired box, and then joined the laptop to it. This Computer Can't Connect To A Homegroup I don't regard this operating system ad a fully completed product. I could create HomeGroups on both boxes but neither box could see the other so neither was allowed to join the HomeGroup.
