I know it is my computer because no other computers in the household are having this problem. Nothing major. In case the drive behaves the same way, then I guess there may be something wrong with the port. If you look at the model number closely you'll see how I was able to determine the drive capacity.

It's not getting recognised in usb 3 but is working normally on usb 2. I'm not exactly sure what is wrong with the latest driver.
