Your instructions were terrific and I loaded the hack and this morning when I connected all my media with the 3.0 cable, voila, all is good in the universe. Was getting REALLY frustrated that I spent all that time upgrading to Win8 but could not use my docking station. Very sad for an otherwise excellent machine. I finally traced this issue to faulty USB 3.0 cables. have a peek at these guys I don't recommend that you repeat them all, but hopefully it helps someone else solve this problem:- In Device Manager, uninstall the USB 3.0 driver.- Insert Asus driver disk and reinstall
Reason below posting. Enable Uasp Windows 7 at this point, I can't still find/read the USB 3.0 external drive which is connected to my laptop. edit: And run a scandisk on the device if it's a drive.

I have the same issue. Really different implementations! I have spent the last month trying to get my Kaiser Baas TVStick Dual working on my new Dell Inspiron 17R (with only USB3.0 ports). check my blog BTW to be extra sure about how those (registry) changes would work for me I also powered off and detached all USB devices, rebooted and only after the OS was back

It's a rather scary workaround - disabling driver signing is NOT a step which should be taken lightly, in my opinion.Also a bit more followup would be handy.
