Unable To Update BIOS On HP ENVY Phoenix 810-140ea Desktop
i just want let people know your computer they wont stand behind there product or help you get your running. Company did not charge me for trying to fix it. Even though the battery may be at 99%, the second I unplug it, the computer dies, as if it doesn't have an internal battery at 99%. per their website that were compatible with this machine. navigate here

My previous BIOS version was fromJuly 2015.I have done this, because this computer was shutting off when i was playing games. Power button lights up but that's all. Furthermore, this is causing a very inconvenient issue. Answer now Issue#575853: HP Envy Phoenix 810-430qe bios update question.....

i'm running windows 10 home and wanted to do a clean install of a proffecional version. At that level in System Information, the BIOS version is reported as "KAI v80.16 12/05/2013", so it seems that the BIOS update to the new v80.24 Rev A in fact did Apperantly I will have to boot into BIOS and enable something, but I can't figure out how!I've tried all F-keys and DEL-key but nothing seems to work. After the cmd window closed, the remaining dialogue window indicated that the BIOS update was also successful. To make matters worse when I do to the link @HP , they can only give me WIN 8 ( basic version) and not the PROFESSIONAL VERSION of windows that came

Those newer bios are for Windows 10. Please help me I don't have a disk to recover. 0 0 04/07/14--16:40: the file is possible corrupt. You may have already seen it, but if not it can be helpful in protecting your system and data.

Back story Was able to update BIOS fine originally but had to have a new MOBO installed. The run of that tool did not detect that a later version of BIOS was available for my HP Envy, so did not install anything. i downloaded the latest version, installed and restarted pc. http://wisteme.com/unable-to/unable-to-update-bios-on-vostro-430.html This MOBO came with 1.2.3.
