Its there any suggestions for someone that had restored their computers when they were the one's to set up the homegroup in the first place? Main computer - that has files that need to be accessed - is connected directly (wired) to the router, while the other one is connected via a wireless adapter. That fixed my problem. Some firewalls can be rather tricky to configure, or even to disable or uninstall.

Both of my computers connect individually and give me their own password, but neither sees the other so I don't get the opportunity to enter the password.
