I started using it and it was working fine. Reinstall macOSFollow these steps afterstarting up from macOS Recovery: Choose Reinstall macOS (or Reinstall OS X) from theutilities window. And they get to set whatever prices they want for parts and service. I'm using the latest OSX version available for the late 2009 MacBook.
This meant that I couldn't reinstall the OS X.
