Very annoying. I suggest moving it to Long delay, which helps to keep the touchpad from registering your palm as a tap as you type and jumping your cursor to a new spot I ended up replacing the the keyboard and the mouse problem disappeared. genius advice!

Mine appears to be tied with browser use as well, and I use firefox, so maybe that's the problem.
