Sata Hard Drive Not Detected In Bios Or Setup
Personally I do not like to take the route of adding additional controller just to run SATA on old computers; i need additional storage for an old machine which didn't had so im not sure if it is the port that i used or the way i installed it. also in biosi don't see anything about changing a setting to raid or anything like that. I have tried to load updated driver at this stage of the installation (both from DVD that came with the motherboard and fresh ones from MSI's web site.
Device manager shows IDE ATA/ATAPI controller to be: Intel 82801G (ICH7 Family) Ultra ATA Storage Controllers-27DF.
When I installed it on the IDE disk I'm currently using, yes I did install sata drivers.
